PARIS : FAB PARIS avec les oeuvres de Niki de Saint-Phalle

"Niki de Saint Phalle, a super woman
In 2025, Niki de Saint Phalle remains in the spotlight, with several FAB PARIS exhibitors showcasing her work. Her work will be celebrated in three exhibitions: one at the Grand Palais for more than six months and during FAB PARIS, another at the Hôtel de Caumont in Aix-en-Provence focusing on her bestiary, and for the first time in Great Britain at Hauser & Wirth. The Georges Philippe and Nathalie Vallois gallery will show a shooting painting from 1961. Created using a rifle, these paintings involve exploding balloons filled with paint on the canvas, symbolising the death of traditional painting. Later, her Nanas, which took shape in spectacular colourful sculptures, shattered the canons of female beauty. One of them, measuring 1.44 metres high, will be shown by Opera Gallery. The Jean-François Cazeau gallery, which loaned works for the exhibition in Aix-en-Provence, will also exhibit four to five pieces by the artist, including a unique ‘cat lamp’ from 1997."
