Dominique Fury (b. in 1956), Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) &
Yayoi Kusama (b. in 1929)
Despite their distinct backgrounds and origins, these three artists share a common enthusiasm for colourful, expressive and vibrant worlds. Their visual language, which has left a lasting mark on the art of the second half of the 20th century, transcends the boundaries between artistic creation, popular culture and commerce. The exhibition will explore the themes that run through their respective works, such as their relationship with consumer society, reflections on life and death, and the exploration of sexuality and the place of the female body. True to the eclecticism that characterises it, the gallery thus aims to create a stimulating dialogue between these iconic figures.
