This work is a photogram; it depicts a firework display unfolding between two feathers, like petals. Through the superimposition of these two disparate elements, the image transforms these familiar elements into a new form. Jahan explores here the artistic possibilities of superimposition, allowing him to transcend the mere reproduction of reality and thus offer an image akin to the surrealist vein.
