Burnt photograph in the Paris studio fir on November 6th 1948. Unique work.

Like his peers during the same time, Pierre Jahan experiments with black room techniques, such as photograms or photomontage. This work is a wonderful example of both the surprising juxtapositions Jahan could obtain by mixing the different techniques.

The female nude is given particular attention, being both sensual, but also graceful. The arrow peeking our from her rib, and the soft sensuality could also call to mind representations of Saint Sebastian.
