                                A departure from his more lyrical "Landscapes", the Self-archeology series marks a more conceptual turn in the artist's work. The colour become deeper indigos, and the use of gold-powder, the artist's signature, dissapears. 
The ink-dipped linen, one of the "tools" used to paint the work, holds sewn inside of it the preparatory drawings for the painting. Now, it has become part of the final work itself...
