Sheet: 33 x 50.7 cm
Printed by Louis Fort, Paris.
This work was inspired by a caricature Picasso drew during his trip to Holland in 1905. The subject, showing Herod and Herodias on the right, with the slave on Salome's board, is a humorous interpretation of the biblical myth.
