Surrealist photomontage has the quality of seamlessly combining disparate mages in something that ressembles reality. In a way, more so than painting, it is a perfect technique in order to showcase the advent of the marvelous in our world. In this fantastical landscape in the vein of Max Ernst or Tanguy, Jahan stages on a desert background feathers, wings and beetle mandibles. The final effect is the eery impression of a growing forest.
